The Wheels on the Bus Go Punch, Punch, Punch

A couple weeks ago a video went viral around the Internet and was picked up by media across the country. The video depicted three African-American teenagers all age 15, beating up a white boy. The beating was in response to the white child telling school officials that one of the teenagers doing the beating tried to sell him drugs.

This is such an unfortunate situation for all the parties involved, and really highlights an unfortunate double standard in society that exists. We saw the race baiters like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson speak out about the Trayvon Martin case, where are they now? These are civil rights leaders who should support equality and fair treatment no matter what race, gender, or religion a particular person is. Instead for the most part the mainstream media and other powerful civil rights leaders remained speechless for the most part.

Why aren’t people like Stevie Wonder who is currently boycotting performing in Florida due to the stand your ground gun laws and the Zimmerman verdict, speaking out against the three African American assailants. I guarantee 100 percent if those 3 assailants were white Jackson, Sharpton, and Wonder would all be “tooting the horn”.

These leaders and influential figures are not helping heal the wounds left behind from years of African American mistreat and recent cases like the Zimmerman trail. Sharpton and Jackson use race as a way to pit people against one another in order to stay relevant and influential. They make a living off being a race mongrel. People like Allen West have spoken out against the beating, and justifiably so. These types of crimes and race baiting from leaders do NOT help bring communities together and unite the country. Pitting groups of people together will never solve the “race” problem we have in this country, because by doing so we cannot even have a civil debate about the issues then. If both sides are already “against” each other, passion will overshadow reason and nothing will get done.

I am also writing this article because I am sure someone like Martin Luther King Jr. would have spoken out against this beating that happened on the bus. He wasn’t in it for the fame, money, or power King was trying to bring people together, and make society better for everyone no matter what creed, color, or gender. People are trying to blame the bus driver for the beating, yes it may have been his fault for not stepping in, but what about the teenagers?

In the end the blame is on three people and should be, the three teenage assailants. No one no matter what color his or her skin is should be subjected to something horrible like what happened to that child on the bus. Those three teenage suspects on video should be tried and convicted for what they have done. I am not trying to stir up a race debate, I am only trying to illustrate the point that not speaking out against this act is hurting the debate and contributing to the double standard.

In order for us move on as a country and Americans after the Zimmerman case is to come together and realize at the end of the day we are all Americans. We all should have the same rights and equalities as the American standing to your left or right no matter what. Leaders like Jackson and Sharpton are cowards for their “picking and choosing” of stories to bring up that will only benefit themselves, then doing things that will benefit all of society and the bring the country together.

Stevie Wonders is not only physically blind but mentally ill too. It is so sad that he is not only blind but also so stupid and amoral that make him a moron and hypocrit.
For Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson-these two blacks are doing anything to get pay as T. Booker Washington stated in 1911: “There is a class of colored people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs, and the hardships of the Negro race before the public. Having learned that they are able to make a living out of their troubles. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose their grievances, because they don’t want to lose their jobs. The class to which this great leader refers is maintaing the media spectable at the expense of the major concerns of the black community. Partly because they have grown into the settled habit of advertising their wrongs because they want sympathy, partly beause it pays.

Please add Oprah to that list. Racism has paid her well.

“If both sides are already “against” each other, passion will overshadow reason and nothing will get done”

It has nothing to do with “passion.”

It has to do with blind utter racism on the blacks side.
