If Obama Reelected: Most Frightening Issue Isn’t Economy…

The economy? The state of unemployment? Perhaps the war(s) or even the rising taxes?

No, I claim it to be Sharia Law creeping into our country, taking over our courts and delivering hate and with it, fear.

The Obama Administration’s passivity as Sharia Law creeps in our legal system is frightening enough. But even more upsetting is the open evidence of a collaboration with Islamist activists to ensure that path to Sharia Law is accelerated!

Last October, at George Washington University, there was a meeting between DOJ officials, including Thomas Perez, and Islamist advocates against free speech. Representatives from the Islamist side included Mohamed Magid, president of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA). The ISNA was an unindicted co-conspirator in a Hamas terror funding trial in 2008, as well as functioning as a Muslim Brotherhood Front. The leader of the Islamist attack was Sahar Aziz, an Egyptian-born American lawyer and Fellow at the Institute for Social Policy and Understanding, a Muslim advocacy group based in Michigan.

At the meeting, the Islamists lobbied for:

  1. Cutbacks in U.S. anti-terror training
  2. Limits on the power of terrorism investigators
  3. Changes in agent training manuals
  4. A legal declaration that criticism of Islam in the United States should be considered racial discrimination

Aziz said that the word “Muslim” has become “racialized” and, once American criticism of Islam was silenced, the effect would be to “take [federal] money away from local police departments and fusion centers who are spying on all of us.”

And what was the response from Perez and the DOJ officials?

As one of a thousand mosques built in the U.S. over the past decade, the Islamic center opened in Murfreesboro, TN, ignited debate across the country and political spectrum — from pulpit pastors to wealthy Republican donors.

Health care investor Andy Miller tries to isolate his concerns to the moral code laid out in Muslim holy books, where he finds discrimination toward women. “I am not anti-Muslim at all. I don’t hate anybody. But I do have issues with Shariah law. When you look at Sharia law, it’s so antithetical to the things that we hold dear as Americans,” Miller says.

Just this past June in Dearborn, MI, police are complicit as Muslims are encouraged to riot at the Muslim Arab Festival.

In the Supreme Court, Senior Counsel David Yerushalmi pursues a reversal of the Sixth Circuit decision to allow tax money to be used in support of sharia law (through a bailout of AIG). He says, “If the government is permitted to take over a major insurance company with taxpayer dollars and use those tax dollars to promote sharia, an Islamic religious doctrine, then the Establishment Clause is meaningless when dressed up as the government doing business.  Once again, we see our Constitution being cast aside when Islam is involved.”

So, why is sharia law so frightening and what does it matter what they believe or do as long as they’re not bothering us?

Because 1) They’re trying to bother us. The Koran defines an infidel and what to do with them…in detail. Guess what? We’re all infidels if we’re not bowing the knee to sharia law and Islam. There’s no freedom of speech in Islam. You can’t even wear a Halloween costume they consider “dishonoring.”

2) Sharia is a war on women. Islam allows husbands (and men in general) to do pretty much whatever they want — abuse, rape, torture. The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan said in an annual report that one woman is raped every three hours in Pakistan. Even worse, 72% of all women in police custody in Pakistan are physically and sexually abused. Women will never be allowed equality in even the most basic of rights.

3) Sharia allows literal eye for an eye vengeance, stoning, whipping, and death to critics of Islam.

4) Islam commands homosexuals be slaughtered (yet, you’ll note that only Chick-fil-A is called out on merely saying they believe in traditional marriage…no hate there!)

5) Sharia ultimately degrades society and diminishes freedom.

The American Thinker has quite a few cases to point out on these matters (and this is only the start).

Cynthia Farahat fled Egypt to avoid facing military prison for her human rights work against Islam and now joins the Center for Constitutional Jurisprudence national campaign to shine a light on the war on women. In Britain, an undercover investigationreveals imams willing to marry underage girls (aged just 12) to older men under sharia law in what the author (Baroness Cox) aptly calls a subverting of British law.

“Any failure of the authorities to uphold these laws [against marriage and sex for minors], because of an apparent clash with another culture, is an example of the politically correct establishment failing vulnerable children.

In one well-documented case, outlined in a book called The Imam’s Daughter — by a young writer living in Britain called Hannah Shah — a woman tried to escape abuse in her household, only to be returned to her family by a ‘culturally sensitive’ social worker, resulting in even worse abuse.

The woman eventually managed to escape and is now in hiding in fear for her life.

It is outrageous that this should be tolerated in Britain [or America!]. Such injustice and intimidation should have no place in our society.”

I venture to say the only reasons for tolerating Sharia Law and Muslim infiltration is ignorance or willful approval of these extreme religionists who believe it is their duty to take over the world and bring it to submission under the boot (or acid rain) of their prophet.
