A Christian? University Professor “Personally Doesn’t Think You Should Be Allowed to Graduate…”

The First Amendment prohibits the making of any law that impedes the free exercise of religion or abridges the freedom of speech.

In the United States, because of this Amendment, we often tout our right to an opinion and of others to their opinion.

Not so at Florida International University’s Honors College, where Professor and Dean, Lesley Northrup, says religion is a myth and lambasts students who believe in Judeo-Christian beliefs. She goes so far as to say if you believe in creationism, you shouldn’t be allowed to graduate.

It seems acceptable and “enlightened” to deride Christian beliefs, yet in Minnesota, schools close so teachers can learn how to teach Islam.
